Kashima Stadium was opened in April 1993 as the first full-scale soccer stadium in Japan, and as the home stadium of the Kashima Antlers J-League team, it has built a solid reputation as a "sacred place for soccer”. This time, the women's restroom was renovated and "REST and" was opened as a new model of advanced restroom space in Japan for the year 2020, based on the concept of restrooms being refreshing spaces necessary for watching soccer matches.
